ColorPlus Printer Driver for Windows Servers and Citrix Driver Update

Document conversion can be a tedious task. But many types of work that are done in an office setting will usually make this a necessary task as well. This doesn’t simply pertain to transforming .doc files to PDF files and vice versa. Some sources or presentations might be scanned images or web pages. There are as many document and image formats as there are applications that can author and read them.

Installable and web-based applications abound that attempt to cater to this need. It is a rare program however that can offer a broad set of tools. The ColorPlus printer driver developed by Black Ice software is one such notable example of this as it addresses format conversion, printing and more. This driver functions as a utility program that can convert documents to PDF, HTML, and other formats usually reserved for images such as JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. It is flexible enough that it can complement any Windows-based program with a print capability. Other tasks such as emailing, archiving and document merging are also included in its suite of functions.

This update for the ColorPlus is version 13.22 released July 27, 2011. Changes in this version include stability improvements for PDF related tasks and more control over the output directory. This program’s design is more geared towards enterprise-level users and thus runs on the Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008 platforms. It is also compatible with Citrix specifications and has support for XenApp and XenDesktop.
