Microsoft IntelliType Pro (64-bit) Driver Update

The keyboard is integral part of any computer and it is one of the most worked on peripherals whether at home and in the office. However, there are cases when users would have a hard time using different keyboard functions on various applications, leaving them wondering how to set the keys for a particular application.

In the meantime, there are computer units that run on 64-bit Windows instead of 32-bit. This adds to the frustration since there are software that are only available for 32-bit Windows but not for 64-bit. Leaving hardware drivers out-of-date won’t make the computer systems better.

While updating hardware drivers can be a daunting task for some people, there are those who keep theirs up-to-date on a regular basis. This allows them to reconfigure the behavior of their hardware and improve the overall performance of their entire computer system.

Therefore, if your PC is running on a 64-bit Windows XP, or later, and you’re searching for a driver that allows you to reconfigure the settings of your keyboard, then worry no more since Microsoft IntelliType Pro Driver Update 8.0 for Windows x64 can let you do just that.

IntelliType Pro x64 8.0 instantly detects and install any keyboard that’s connected to the PC. If a single unit is accommodating more than one keyboard, each device can have a different configuration. It also lets you reassign a specific function to a particular key, like open a file, program, web page, or even execute commands like copy or paste. The software also allows you to disable keys that are often pressed accidentally, such as the CAPS LOCK key. Furthermore, it can be installed on any PC that runs on 64-bit Windows, so you won’t be having any more trouble finding a software that’s compatible with your OS.

Aside from hardware configurations, IntelliType Pro x64 also enables you to turn on its auto-updates or even participate in a customer experience improvement program to make sure that you get the best out of your keyboard use.

Microsoft IntelliType Pro 8.0 for Windows XP x64 or later was released on October 18, 2010 and it is still available on this site. However, this driver update does not support PS/2 devices anymore, so it is still recommended to check your hardware before installing the driver.
