nVidia Graphics (Windows XP/Media Center Edition) Driver Update

This nVidia Graphics driver (Version 270.61) was released last April 18, 2011 and supports Windows XP and Windows XP Media Center Edition. It is also a WHQL (Windows High Quality Labs) certified driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, and 300-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.

New Features:

  • This version supports the newer release of GeForce (GeForce GTX 590, GeForce GTX 560 Ti and GeForce GTX 550 Ti GPUs)
  • It enhances performance of the older release of GeForce (GeForce 400 Series and 500 Series GPUs) in many PC games vs v266.58 WHQL drivers.
  • It also has an added feature that informs the users when a new driver or a driver update is available.  The user has an option to download the driver or disregard it.

Limitations:

This driver update only supports notebook PCs with Windows XP but not with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

nVidia Graphics (Windows Vista 32-bit / Windows 7 32-bit) Driver Update

Last April 18, 2011, nVidia released their WHQL-certified driver (Version 270.61) under the Release 270 family drivers.

This version supports GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500-series desktop GPUs as well as ION desktop GPUs. The driver package has also an additional 3D Vision Controller driver.

Features:

GPU Support

  • Additional feature that supports the newly released GeForce GTX 590, GeForce GTX 560 Ti and GeForce GTX 550 Ti GPUs.

Performance

  • The update increases the performance for GeForce 400 Series and 500 Series GPUs in several PC games vs. v266.58 WHQL drivers.

nVIDIA Update

  • This driver update has additional nVidia update feature (which is also available in future driver releases). This addition notifies the user if a new driver release is available. The user will then be redirected to www.nvidia.com and will be given an option to download the driver update.

nVidia Graphics (Windows XP Professional x 64 Edition/Server 2003 x64 Edition) Driver Update

This driver package is a member of the 270 (versions 270.xx) family of drivers and is certified by Windows High Quality Labs (WHQL). The package works with GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, and 300-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.

The new version (270.61) and was released last April 18, 2011. This driver update is compatible with Windows 2003 64-bit and Windows XP 64-bit

  • This driver update supports the recently released GeForce GTX 590, GeForce GTX 560 Ti and GeForce GTX 550 Ti GPUs.

The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver is a video driver with a system compatible with Intel chipsets 845G, 845GL, 865G, 845GE, 845GV and 915G Express.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver was released on July 17, 2009 and was added on August 10, 2009. This can be downloadable free of charge and can be used with Windows XP SP 2.
